A simple mind, a beautiful life,
Moments filled with joy and delight.
Every particle seems cheerful and bright,
Nature invites us with beauty in sight.
Like plants growing in a row,
They rise with ease and continue to grow.
Without jealousy or hatred in their hearts,
They bloom in colours, playing their parts.
The simplicity of the mind
Brings peace and calm inside.
It keeps us away from ill will
And lends our lives a radiant glow.
To live a happy life,
We must learn simplicity.
It is essential to stay away
From deceit and duplicity.
Do not deceive anyone in life,
Do not obstruct another’s way.
Let everyone live as they wish,
And do not interfere needlessly.
“Neither borrow nor lend,”
So goes the saying of old.
Live on whatever little you have,
Be content with the food you hold.
False worldly illusions cling
To the body, frail and weak.
Those who wander bound by them
Find themselves trapped in troubles deep.
Simple living and high thinking
Help our lives to flourish.
Keeping us far from fraud and deceit,
They fill our hearts with joy so rich.
Let us follow the path of simplicity
To make our lives beautiful,
To live with happiness and contentment
And depart this world in peace.
