Scattered Beauty

↳

Beauty is scattered everywhere,
Yet not everyone can see it.
For want of an imaginative vision,
Many remain unaware of it.

Beauty is spread all around,
In every particle of nature.
Yet we fail to notice it,
Lost in worries of our own making.

Red and yellow flowers, green leaves,
The Gulmohar and Amaltas trees,
Their vibrant, contrasting colours
Create an attraction that enchants with ease.

Aak, Dhatura, Kaner and Kachnar,
White, blue, yellow and pink,
With their diverse shades of colour,
Make our surroundings sway and sing.

Mangoes, bananas, papayas and oranges,
Each with its own shape and hue,
Beautify the garden in their own way,
And charm everyone with their view.

Green paddy fields, golden wheat,
Yellow mustard, black pigeon peas,
So many colours spread across the land,
With every changing season’s breeze.

Colourful birds take to the skies,
Sleek animals with stripes so fine,
Countless beautiful creatures around us
Capture our attention all the time.

Monkeys, frogs, goats and lizards,
Cows, bulls, dogs and cats,
Each is beautiful in its own form—
Recognise them; don’t mock their traits.

Green earth and the blue sky above,
Lush green trees and the ocean blue,
Grey hills and valleys dressed in green,
The shining sun in golden hue.

At sunrise and at sunset,
The horizon glows in crimson and gold,
Creating countless beautiful images,
As the vast sky unfolds.

To appreciate the beauty scattered around,
One needs a special kind of sight;
One must recognise every little fibre
Of nature, graceful and bright.
